These are instructions on how to unlock the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS for use with any GSM cellphone carrier using UltraSn0w. This will work with the iOS 4.0 firmware.

Before you can follow these instructions you must have a jailbroken iPhone and you must be on the 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, or 05.13.04 baseband(modem firmware).

here's the solution for unlocking iPhone for those who doesnt have wifi connection or disabled wifi problem

1: use iTunes 9.0.2 (Downlod here) and restore / update to firmware 3.2.1(Download here)

2: jailbreak it by using BlckSn0w RC3 (Put phone in Recovery mode)
3: use iphoen explorer or iphone browser (Downlaod HERE)
4: Connect turned ON phone with iphone browser and copy these files (download HERE) as described below

( I ) /usr/lib/blacksn0w.dylib

( II ) /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

5: Now close the Iphone browser and your phone will be unlocked after the reboot

1-Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
2-Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using redsn0w or PwnageTool (this will also install Cydia/Icy) (RedSn0w here http://thepiratebay.org/user/iphonedev/)
3-Run Cydia or Icy
4-Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or Icy. That last “o” is actually the number zero “0”! If you use the letter “o” you’ll get an error.
Search for ‘ultrasn0w’ in cydia or icy and install ultrasn0w
5-Reboot your iPhone 3G

T-Mobile USA users should disable 3G before using ultrasn0w
